They Put It In Print

My first published article! It appears in “Songwriter’s Magazine” that the Songwriter’ Association of Canada puts out annually.

The actual printed version in Songwriter’s Magazine was edited down to about a third of its size due to column space. So I posted the full-length version on my blog ~ I want to share the original because of the jokes. ;P

fyi, Topic is a little dry. But I’m feeling pretty good about it!

Europe, that’s where!

A simple web poster I made for my upcoming tour of Europe. Tania Anderson took the photo of me back in July in one of Toronto’s beautiful, secluded parks.

I have been so busy in the studio these past few weeks, that I have been forgetting to update you on how the Jump In – Be a Backer! campaign is going.

Drum roll….

We are at Five-thousand, six-hundred and five dollars!!! Wooo hoooo!!!

Maybe is this gauche…

…to say out loud? But I think the rough mix tracks sound AMAZING!!!!

Now I’m back home in the Cariboo, central BC, for a couple of weeks to listen and make notes on the songs. (Drove up today from Vancouver through a SNOW STORM in the mountains. For realsies!)

I head back to Toronto mid November en route to Europe to add the tweaks (ie shakers and more back up vocals) and record one more song before we start MIXING!!!
