New Homemade Music Video!

It has been awhile since my last addition to the Homemade Music Video Project. Yesterday I was inspired to make another one, though not for the cheeriest reasons. The topic of relationship violence is all over the internet here in Canada because the Jian Ghomeshi verdict came in on Friday March 25th.

I dug back into my old catalogue and pulled out the song Movie from my 2005 album “Hearts Fall”. Movie is a metaphorical look at relationship violence. I spent many hours playing and replaying the song as I edited together the video and I am saddened to realize that the topic remains as relevant as when I wrote it.

Images come from a Europe tour in the fall of 2014. A Christmas market in Austria, an u-bahn in Germany, I believe.
