Sun’s Coming Out

Oh yah! Feeling good! Even the sun’s out again. Spent a few days in a cabin in the backyard of my friends’ house. A bed, a heater, a lamp and a whole lot of sweaters and socks on account of the rain. I took myself on a little writing retreat to finish up songs for the record, which I’m in the process of recording later this month.

I’m back home now with one solid new tune called “Pretty Little Soldier”. It is based on the book “Blue Light Project” by Timothy Taylor, and I can’t wait to premiere it during Torn From the Pages at the Vancouver Writer’s Festival in October!! Woo!
