KE show in Köln – Saturday June 28th!
Last weekend, the triple-bill show at the Odonien was wild! The place was so packed that there was a line up to get in to the garden (I heard estimates of between 600 to 800 people were there.) So I guess technically it means we were SOLD OUT. I’ve never been there before and I dug it. A total festival vibe — high energy, lots of fun, full of friends hanging out and enjoying themselves. We played for about an hour, and Because Chor joined us on the last tune to close out the set. One thing that I heard from a few folks in the audience, though, was that the listening experience was less than ideal. As in: the place was buzzing with people chatting over drinks, which made it difficult to hear the stage clearly.
But fear not, dear friends! Tomorrow night’s show is a much more intimate venue. And, an excellent one for listening. So, if you were there at the Odonien and are craving a proper listen… or if you were busy last week and didn’t make it then. Tomorrow (or today, depending on when you see this!) you have another chance to catch me and Sascha playing live.
Doors open at 19:30, show starts at 20:00. I’m joined by Sascha Düx extraordinaire. We’ll be playing oldies revitalized, as well as songs from the new record (and I’ll have lots of those on hand, if you’re old school and would like to pick a CD up.) Trying out some visuals too. And as a very special treat, a wonderful musician friend of mine from Canada will be popping in to share a few tunes as well.
It’s gonna be a gooder.
