And so wraps up another Girls With Glasses tour (our fifth year!) With barely a snow squall on the highways nor an empty seat in the house, this year by far was the biggest *spectacle* to date. Thanks everyone who had the *foresight* to come out to one of our shows! *See* you next year!

Of course, I’m not really going anywhere! You can still see me (sans my side project, GWG), like, for example ==> on Friday March 11th! I’m sharing the bill with Yael Wand and the Wingdam Ramblers!

It’s winter, and you know what that means!

Once again it’s time for the annual Girls With Glasses Tour! Evalyn Parry, Eve Goldberg and myself aka GWGs head out across southern Ontario for three weekends bringing an “ensemble that combines rootsy folk and blues, edgy pop, and spoken word with luscious harmonies and original arrangements.”

We kicked off the tour last Saturday at St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Toronto to a nearly sold out show as part of the Acoustic Harvest Concert Series.

The tour continues this weekend with dates in Kingston, Ottawa (and this one IS sold out!) and McDonald’s Corners. Next weekend we head to Stratford & London where we will be joined by special guest, original GWG Allison Brown. Avoid disappointment ~ be sure to reserve your tickets! See Tour dates for details.

…and here it is!!

Welcome to the newly redesigned www.karynellis.com! Woo hoooooo! It’s been a LONG time coming for this major overhaul. And I couldn’t be more pleased! Thanks Carlos Gouveia for programming this wonderful space. Sooooo much rooooooomier than the old site!

What do you think of it? I love the addition of comments sections on several of the pages (ie lyrics) as well as the fact that it is generally waaaaay easier to navigate around the site. You?
